Family Heirlooms: a cradle
Thirty-six years ago Ken’s in-laws presented him and his wife with an antique cradle built by his wife’s great-grandfather. He was so impressed by the gift that he pledged to make a unique cradle for every niece and nephew upon the birth of their first child, in the hopes that the cradles would become family heirlooms for generations. This is cradle number 16. KEN BAYER, Pittsburgh, Pa.
