Lots of nail biting and prayers along the way. I’d never done any of this earlier! 36 dowels join the case; D. Welter’s article,”The Dowel Joint” (FWW) 2021) is exceptional. Knife hinges from Brusso following C. Thibodeau’s “Easy Knife Hinges,” (2017) technique. Exceptional guidance. Legs were fashioned following the build of a jig from D. Kondra’s “Curved Leg Table” (1999). Worked beautifully! Toughest part was fashioning and fitting the mullions on the doors.

Rift ash shiplapped case back tinted with thinned garnet shellac to match coloring of figured ash sides and top. Doors sealed with unwaxed shellac. Case finished with hard wax.

Button catches left top and right bottom. Small ash blocking left side maintains door properly.

A "carrier" I used to drill, countersink and cut (upside down on the tablesaw) the brass barstock (McMaster Karr) for securing the case to the stand.
